Sleeker ONE Hi-Cut

Sleeker ONE Hi-Cut is a strong all-in-one (AIO) polishing paste, noted for its high cutting power, great finishing, and surface protection. It provides durable polymer protection that lasts several weeks.

The paste uses a trusted abrasive system also found in other Sleeker products, with carefully chosen gradations. It mainly uses degradable aluminum oxide, which works with silica in the form of kaolin. This combination ensures fast and effective removal of damaged paint surfaces, resulting in a much better finish compared to pastes that use only aluminum oxide.

First, in the initial polishing phase, the aluminum oxide grains aggressively tackle the surface, removing the most damaged layer. As friction occurs, these grains break down, and the smaller pieces start to polish the surface. Additionally, silica further breaks down these finer aluminum oxide particles, enhancing the finish.

Moreover, Sleeker ONE Hi-Cut features an oil-water emulsion system, which makes the application smooth, cools the surface well, and makes cleaning up easy. When you use clean pads, the paste reduces dusting.

A key feature of AIO pastes is their ability to protect the paint surface after polishing and make it water-resistant. Sleeker ONE Hi-Cut achieves this with highly durable polymers that protect the paint from weather and biological factors for 4-6 weeks. These polymers do not fill in unpolished scratches because the paste’s cutting power makes this unnecessary. However, due to their presence, it is not recommended to use this paste before applying ceramic coatings.

The compound works great with both rotary and orbital polishers. Properly chosen pads make the polishing process easy and quick. We especially recommend working with microfiber pads such as Blue Killer™ or modern Master Wool Da Series made of blended wool, such as Furious Lily™, which provides a very high level of surface finish with a strong cut.
